Relief from Sleep Apnea and Snoring
Are you constantly tired, irritable and disturbing others with your snoring? Sleep deprivation can take a huge toll on your appearance, energy levels and overall quality of life. If you suffer from chronic snoring or Sleep Apnea, there IS something you can do to get your life back.
You could have Sleep Apnea
People suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) tend to snore because the airway narrows and collapses periodically, which not only causes snoring, but can cause a sleep apneic to stop breathing altogether.
These periods of non-breathing can occur hundreds of times in just one night, which can put your health at high risk, often causing medical issues such as:
- Heart attack and stroke
- Dementia and certain cancers
Most snoring occurs when air pathways are blocked during sleep. Thus, its important to open the airway to allow more oxygen. Let me help you get the restful sleep you need and deserve"

Diagnosis and Treatment
The gold standard for treatment of Sleep Apnea is the CPAP machine. However, this is not always suitable for extended treatment. Dr May recommends an oral appliance called a SomnoMed that will help open your airway and reduce the severity of your sleep apnea. These appliances reduce sleep apnea associated health risks without the need for surgery or medications. He then uses WatchPat technology for accurate detection of OSA to gauge the effectiveness of treatment.
The SomnoMed is made of a durable comfortable material that is custom made for each patient. It is the least bulky appliance on the market and is also adjustable by the patient and the doctor to make it the most comfortable it can be. When being treated in our practice with the appliance, it will be covered by most PPO medical insurances.

“My husband would snore so loud that I would have to wear ear plugs and a pillow over my head. Even that didn't help, I would have to get up in the middle of the night and go sleep in the spare bedroom. The very first night my husband wore the mouth guard what a difference, no ear plugs no pillow and I have not had to sleep in the spare bedroom since. Pure quiet. Worth every penny. Thanks Dr. May”
